He has also taught marketing at EvoNexus (startup incubator), WeWork, San Diego State University, Cal Poly and Pt Loma Nazarene. He is the past president of the San Diego chapter of the Direct Marketing Association and has received the The Margaret Sellers Award as marketer of the year.
I recently graduated from Point Loma Nazarene with a B.S. in Marketing and the top marketing student department award. I have a background in sales extending over 8 years and a passion for helping small businesses and startups. I was also ranked in the top 10 nationally across multiple debate circuits with PLNU’s speech and debate team. I have found my extensive experience in competitive speech and debate to be as relevant and helpful to my new career in marketing as my marketing degree.
I met Randy Gerson and Chris D’eon while I was studying at Point Loma when they came into some of my marketing classes as guest speakers. While PLNU is blessed with many amazing teachers and speakers, I always seemed to learn more implementable ideas from Randy and Chris. I knew from our first meeting that I wanted to work with them and when I heard Randy had an opening, I pounced on the opportunity immediately.
